Trunk Club App Reviews

Review primarily aimed at the company - in case anyone is on the fence. Tried it out for one trunk, did the whole questionnaire and stylist consult. The results were disastrous, nothing I would ever wear. The app is neat - you can see whats going in your trunk - unfortunately, you can only edit it twice before youre stuck with what they send you, and the stylists dont seem to read the feedback. Not worth it.

Contacted by my personal stylist within 5 minutes and within 45 minutes I have my first trunk shipping!

Either this app is very popular and they dont have enough staff or this is just a waste of time. Its been two weeks now and Ive yet to get any suggestions from the consultant. I added my credit card and updated all my information. I even gave all my sizing information. Uploaded a photo and all. Nothing from the consultant. I figured that they were busy.. Two weeks later... I call it like I see it... This app is trash and you should give your money to these people.

I have a similar complaint as other 1 star reviews. My stylist went silent after two trunks. She has not communicated with me or replied to several messages for almost a month. Not sure what the purpose of the company is if the stylists are not communicating with their clients.

I started with high hopes, this was my birthday gift. I invested so much time on phone and the pieces on the trunk were total disappointment. As if I did not talk about my style or the needs at all on the phone.. Putting this much time, I could have done much better shopping myself. Where is the personal styling ? Items were selected without care. I do not consider myself very style savvy but I am also not clueless. I did not see any value. I was really expecting better :(

I live in a small town fairly far from a major metropolitan city so I decided to give trunk club a try. My stylist has been receptive and on top of things. Id say give it a try if your stuck in a clothing rut.

It took over two weeks to get my first trunk, mostly because my stylist took forever to respond. I was disappointed with everything in the trunk, the price point was at the lowest $40, and jumped up from there. Quality of some of the items felt really really cheap, nothing fit right, and I sent the whole trunk back. At least its no money outta my pocket. Deleting this app.

I really loved this service. Im confused by people who are rating this app low-complaining their stylist never responded...did they not check their email? The app is not meant to be a messaging system, as you actually have to talk to a stylist. You need to enter your contact information-dont expect to get a response on the app messenger. I loved the trunk I got & was very pleased with the ease of the process.

My "stylist",Caroline, never responded. I waited for four days. Sent multiple messages. I filled out everything I was suppose to and even sent her my Pintrest account for ideas.. Still no reply.. They do better with who the hire, make sure they will actually do their job..

Unfortunately, when I went to request my first box, the only questions were for men. I looked everywhere but nowhere did I see a place for women to actually request and fill out the questionnaire. Even on the website this was difficult (from mobile).

Ive been totally shocked at how great this service has been so far. Within 30 minutes of signing up, I received a call from my personal "stylist". We spoke for well over 30 minutes providing details regarding my expectations and preferences. The stylist, Kelsey, has been surprisingly quick to respond to any questions and putting together an initial trunk to get me started. Ive always relied on girlfriends to help me shop. Im a timid shopper when it comes to clothing, I dress as humbly as possible, always cautious not to wade into the "metrosexual" category. I explained this to Kelsey and I trust she will deliver clothes that demonstrate some level of fashion sense without having to try too hard. She explained she will, at times, make picks designed to push me a bit outside my comfort zone, items I would likely never even think to consider that may convert my rather dull wardrobe to one that appeals to women and keep me looking sharp at the office. The feedback and communication with your stylist is almost instantaneous, I predict that over time, the stylist assigned to is bound to get to know you well enough that they become an even more valuable asset for mens clothing needs than imaginable. My first trunk is on its way, but Im already fully convinced this was the perfect choice for me to convert my out-dated, unimaginative wardrobe to one that will help with confidence in the workplace and social life. Again, Ive always been a bit averse to "fashion", but through this club, Ill be able to achieve some semblance of fashion sense without transitioning to full on metro.

just advertises expensive clothes and I even deleted and redownloaded to see if it would give me different styles if i chose different stores, but nope! same brands and styles as before no matter what you pick your "preference"

I completely enjoy Trunk Club, and now, the app is a welcome addition to the process.

Just downloaded and started my journey

App would not allow me to like designs from "discover" without making a purchase. However I picked casual and the app shows me business attire only. So how am I supposed to customize what Im offered to be more like what I want if you dont even give me the option? Also, needs more stores and activewear.

Over all good app and nice clothes but they need to have a schedule ups button on the app for returns.

Not a lot of functionality

Its a very cool idea, to get clothes you want sent to your door and in the beginning it is very exciting ya know talking to your stylist and you think wow this is super cool Im going to get the latest trends but then u see your first trunk suggestions and a regular striped shirt is $95 (no exaggeration) and the rest are similar prices, even if you tell your stylist that is not in your price range and they suggest a new trunk and it doesnt change. I dont know if i expected too much from this app but I was not pleased. This app could improve in many different areas, the idea is great but they fail in executing their idea in a way that is best for everyone.

So I searched discount mens clothing and this came up. Thought Id try it but the budget options are deplorable. Who would set a minimum of $50 for a single item? When I buy clothes usually anything over $20 for a single piece is beyond my price range. Wish it was cheaper. Oh well, to look decent I guess you have to be rich.
